Minutes of December 15, 2003

Moved by Councillor Wejr, seconded by Councillor van Berkel, that the minutes of the Regular Council Meeting, held on December 15, 2003, be adopted as circulated.

The Planner provided background information on this application to Council. The recommendation to deny this application was based on survey and Open House reports. The applicant has since garnered signatures on a petition.

The Planner provided background information on this application to Council. The recommendation to deny this application is based on survey and Open House reports. Residential development in this area designated for industrial use is not desirable due to land use conflicts, access issues, and the general concept of development on the fringe of the City.

Moved by Councillor Wejr, seconded by Councillor Brookes that the City of Enderby Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 1339, 2004 be given first and second reading and taken to Public Hearing.

Re: Computer Network

Discussion:

Moved by Councillor Wejr, seconded by Councillor Ludwig that the City purchase a new computer network server, to be funded from the 2003 Administration budget surplus;

AND FURTHER that an equipment replacement reserve fund be established in order to spread the impact of anticipated software and capital costs over the life of the items to be purchased.
