The Members and Staff of Enderby Detachment welcome you to the City of Enderby Web Page and are pleased to be a small part of it. I and the rest of the staff are committed to ensuring the residents of this fine community are safe at all times, whether at home, work or play and enjoy an excellent relationship with those we serve. The team approach that exists in Enderby and area amongst all services is one that is not always seen in other locations and we are proud to be a part of that team. Enderby Detachment is staffed by (17) Police Officers, three Clerks and one Auxiliary Member. Nine (9) of those Members are engaged in Highway Patrol duties while the rest are tasked with the broad-based policing duties throughout the community. The Detachment not only utilizes police cars for transport but also utilizes mountain bikes and snowmobiles, to conduct seasonal patrols. We are pleased to add that we also have the services of a Police-Based Victims Assistance Unit which has proven invaluable during certain events. The Detachment Patrol area is one which encompasses the south end of Mara Lake, Gardom Lake, the west side of Mabel Lake as well as a large area along Trinity Valley Road. It is bounded by Falkland, Armstrong, Lumby, Salmon Arm,Sicamous and Revelstoke Detachments, certainly a rather large area. Incorporated in that area is the Spallumcheen Indian Reserve and we provide First Nations Policing to the residents of the Band. Overall, from both a policing and residency perspective, the majority of the General Duty Police at this detachment have opted to reside in Enderby and we all have adopted this wonderful little city as our home. Once again, welcome!!!
